Courses

  • The lessons will be given in two types of forms. One-to-one lesson and group lesson.
    The individual lessons will be given for 40 minutes, and 4 times per student. All lessons will be with piano accompaniment.
    Pieces below will be with piano accompaniment.
    Students will be allowed to audit the lessons of other students. In addition, practice rooms will also be provided.

    * Peter-Lukas Graf reservations are limited to one 60-minute lesson during the availability period.

Eligibility

  • Student : any musician who is 15 years old or above

  • Auditor : open to any person who is above 7 years old

* Students will be drawn from an international pool of applicants.
* Additionally, home-stay accommodations can be available for foreign students.

Application

The application form should arrive at the following address with all necessary information (name, age, address, telephone number, school or occupation, music career and a CD of the audition repertoire) Please indicate your name and pieces on your CD and case.

Notification of results

All participants will be notified by return mail of their acceptance into the Academy by the middle of June.

VISAS

If necessary, contestants are responsible for obtaining their own visas to enter Japan.
If necessary, Academy and Festival Office will issue an invitation letter upon request.
